Epoxy Floor Systems We Install

Every floor starts with the same careful preparation. The finish is up to you.

Garage Floors

The garage is where most of our epoxy work happens. Bare concrete soaks up oil, holds tire marks and sheds dust. A coated floor seals the slab, so spills stay on the surface and wipe up, and the whole space looks finished instead of forgotten.

Flake Systems

Colored flakes are broadcast into the wet base coat and locked in under a clear top coat. The speckled finish hides dust and small imperfections in the concrete, adds texture underfoot and comes in many color blends. It is the finish in the before and after photos on this page.

Metallic Epoxy

Metallic pigments are worked through the epoxy while it is wet to create a flowing, marbled look with a glossy finish. No two floors come out the same, which makes it a good fit for a garage or room you want to show off.

Commercial-Grade Coatings

Shops, warehouses and retail floors see more traffic and more cleaning than a home garage. Tell us how the space is used and we will recommend a coating system to match.

Before and After: Garage Flake Floor

This garage started as bare concrete with oil stains and cracks running across the slab. We prepared the surface, repaired the cracks and installed a full flake system sealed with a clear top coat.

How We Install an Epoxy Floor

A coating is only as good as the preparation under it. This is what happens on every job.

  1. 1

    Visit and free quote

We look at the concrete, measure the space and go over finishes and colors with you. The quote is free and comes with no obligation.

  2. 2

    Surface preparation

We clean the slab and prepare the surface so the coating bonds to the concrete instead of sitting on top of it.

  3. 3

    Crack and pit repair

Cracks and damaged spots are filled and leveled so they do not show through the finished floor.

  4. 4

    Base coat and flakes

The colored base coat goes down, and on a flake floor the flakes are broadcast over it while it is still wet.

  5. 5

    Clear top coat

A clear top coat seals everything in and gives the floor its shine and its resistance to stains.

  6. 6

    Cure time

The floor needs time to cure before you walk on it, and longer before you park on it. We give you the timing for your floor when we finish.

Epoxy Flooring Questions

What customers ask us most before coating a garage floor.

Can you coat a garage floor that is cracked or stained?

Yes. Most garage floors we coat have oil stains and cracks. We clean the slab and repair cracks and pits before coating, as in the project shown on this page. If we find a problem with the concrete that a coating will not solve, we tell you before any work starts.

How long does it take to install an epoxy garage floor?

It depends on the size of the floor, the condition of the concrete and the system you choose. The work is done in stages: preparation, base coat and top coat, followed by curing. We give you a schedule with your quote.

When can I walk and park on the new floor?

Foot traffic comes first and vehicles later. The exact timing depends on the product and the weather, so we give you the times for your floor when the job is finished.

What is the difference between flake and metallic epoxy?

A flake floor has colored flakes broadcast into the base coat, which gives a speckled, textured finish that hides dust and marks. Metallic epoxy uses pigments moved through the wet coating to create a smooth, glossy, marbled look. Flake is the most common choice for garages; metallic is chosen mainly for its appearance.

How do I clean an epoxy floor?

Sweep or dust-mop loose dirt and mop with water and a mild cleaner. Because the surface is sealed, spills sit on top of the floor instead of soaking into the concrete.

How much does an epoxy garage floor cost?

The price depends on the square footage, the condition of the concrete and the finish you choose. Quotes are free and come with no obligation: call (813) 618-9589 or send the form on this page.
