What We Paint

Inside or outside, new build or repaint, every job gets the same attention to preparation.

Interior Painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and closets. We cover floors and furniture, mask edges and fixtures, and repair small dents and nail holes before painting, so the finished walls look even.

Exterior Painting

Stucco, siding, soffits, fascia, trim, shutters and garage doors. Florida sun and rain are hard on exterior paint, so a new coat is as much about protecting the house as it is about how it looks.

Color Consultation

Not sure which color to choose? We help you pick wall, trim and accent colors that work together and suit the house, before any paint is ordered.

Deck Staining

Wood left unprotected outdoors turns gray and wears quickly. We clean and stain decks to bring back the color of the wood and help it stand up to the weather.

How We Paint a Home

Most of a good paint job happens before the first coat. This is what to expect.

  1. 1

    Visit and free quote

We walk the house with you, measure, and go over what will be painted and in which colors. The quote is free and comes with no obligation.

  2. 2

    Cover and mask

Floors, furniture, windows, fixtures and landscaping are covered or masked so paint only goes where it belongs.

  3. 3

    Surface preparation

We clean the surfaces, remove loose paint, patch cracks and holes, and caulk gaps where needed. Paint applied over a poor surface does not last.

  4. 4

    Primer where needed

Bare, repaired or stained areas are primed so the finish coat covers evenly and bonds well.

  5. 5

    Paint

We apply the finish by brush, roller or sprayer, depending on the surface, and cut in trim and edges by hand.

  6. 6

    Cleanup and walkthrough

We remove the masking, clean up the work area and walk the job with you. Anything that needs a touch-up gets it before we leave.

House Painting Questions

What homeowners ask us most before a painting project.

How long does it take to paint a house?

It depends on the size of the home, how much preparation the surfaces need and, for exterior work, the weather. We give you a schedule with your quote and keep you updated if rain moves it.

Do I need to move furniture or prepare anything?

It helps to put away small and fragile items and take pictures off the walls. We cover floors and furniture and mask windows and fixtures before we start. For exterior work, clear access around the house is all we need.

Can you paint stucco, siding and brick?

Yes. Most homes we paint in the Tampa Bay area are stucco, and we also paint siding, soffits, fascia, trim, shutters and garage doors. Tell us what the house is made of and we will prepare each surface the way it needs.

What happens if it rains during an exterior job?

Exterior paint needs a dry surface and time to dry, so we plan around the forecast and stop when rain is coming. Afternoon storms are part of working in Florida; we pick the job back up once the surfaces are dry.

Can you help me choose colors?

Yes. Color consultation is part of our service. We can suggest combinations for walls, trim and accents, and work with the colors your HOA allows if you have one.

How much does it cost to paint a house?

The price depends on the size of the house, the surfaces, the amount of preparation and the paint you choose. Quotes are free and come with no obligation: call (813) 618-9589 or send the form on this page.
